No More Referrals….Really?

The actual title of the website should probably be: “nomorereferralsforlowlevelclassroombehaviorissues.” While more informative and to the point, you can see from trying to read the title it is too cumbersome for current electronic media to process and readers to comprehend. What then is the message I’m trying to convey? Research tells educators there is a direct relationship between the length of time spent in the classroom on “meaningful” instruction/learning and academic success. Any disruptions to this instructional environment significantly reduces academic performance. Through intensive in-service workshops or professional development trainings, individual schools or entire districts will be presented with research based and clinically proven strategies to virtually eliminate “office referrals” for low level inappropriate classroom behaviors and consequently see an improvement in student academic success.
